DUIS Methodology is a strict projects control and evaluation process to certify Urban Developments, as comprehensive and sustainable, which deserve consultancy incentives, funding and technical support from the federal government, due to the benefits provided to the community. Both of these analysis were performed in order to obtain the certification in the Sustainable Comprehensive Urban Developments (DUIS) methodology, which was accomplished successfully. Our company was in charge of generating all the deliverables that showed compliance with the mobility and connectivity section.

The complex called Ciudad Bicentenario Hidalgo has the objective of building 25,000 houses. According to the regulations for certified projects, equipment to provide sustainability to the project are also planned, which include schools, kindergartens, recreational centers, services and commercial areas, in 372 hectares.

In turn, the Real Castilla development includes the construction of 7,000 houses, one kindergarten and an elementary school in stage I of the complex, a sports modules, a workout station, a jogging line, a bicycle line of 1,300 meters, in 84.45 hectares.

In order to ensure the sustainability of the development’s mobility, several road and transport networks options were analyzed using the microscopic simulation model VISSIM, where the current and future conditions were analyzed under a project implementation program in stages.
